The build started with chassis 161 of only 246 road-going Targa models in the US for that model year and is powered by a modified 2.7L naturally-aspirated flat-six engine. The modified flat-six features larger 92mm cylinders (compared to the factory 90mm cylinders) bumping the cars output to 180 horsepower. The brakes are upgraded OEM 986 Porsche Boxster units, a rear-seat delete saves weight and the steering was restored with new seals and gaskets.

The Black Widow Reborn – Peter du Toit’s ’57 Chevy Bel Air

PEBBLE BEACH, CALIF. (August 22, 2022) The 1951 Talbot-Lago Type 26 Grand Sport Stabilimenti Farina Cabriolet from the Mullin Automotive Museum collection was awarded the Best in Class prize for the Talbot-Lago Grand Sport Line, at the Pebble Beach Concours dElegance. The car was also a finalist for the coveted Best of Show award. Owner Merle Mullin was on hand to accept the award, as the vehicle drove across the famous stage.

Callaway Cars have announced the extension of its supercharged vehicle line with a preview of the upcoming system for the Chevrolet Corvette C8 platform. Commemorating the 35th anniversary of the Callaway and Corvette relationship, the GM specialist is offering a first look at the development vehicle for attendees of Corvettes at Carlisle on August 25-28, 2022.

My feeling is that Dion got this car just right, not too much and not too little. The wheel offset and stance are just about perfect and we all know how that makes or breaks the look of a street machine. Not a sleeper and not in your face, a Muscle car equilibrium, if you will.

Big girls. Yes, I like them and I am not shy to admit it. Black Betty is her name and she is a “big girl”. Now I am going to elaborate on how I like my cars big, big engines. 

No wimpy small blocks for me. Big bodies, there needs to be space for all my pals and a cooler box. Big seats, preferably a bench so the missus has no excuse not to sit close. So now that we have established that I like my cars big, we can carry on.
