The PROFORM GM LS High-Torque Starter is a compact, gear-reduction starter designed specifically for GM LS-series engines. Featuring a powerful 2.2kW, 12V motor and 3.75:1 gear reduction, it delivers significantly increased cranking power compared with conventional starters.
The offset design provides additional clearance around the oil pan and exhaust, while the starter housing can be rotated to further improve clearance in custom and LS-swapped applications. The starter is supplied with shims to correctly set pinion-to-ring-gear engagement where required.
Ideal for LM7 5.3L LS swaps, performance builds, street rods, muscle cars and custom applications.
