Monster Energy Is Giving Away A Ford Ranger Behind The Scenes

Over the years Monster Energy and Ford Performance have built one of the most recognized and entertaining brand collaborations the world has ever seen.  Working with big-name drivers like Ken Block and Vaughn Gittin Jr to our very own local Supa Drifter Champion Jason Web.

When it comes to cars, Monster Energy and Ford Performance are legendary. Over the last few years, Monster Energy and Ford have given away some epic cars in South Africa. Prizes ranged from a Ford Mustang Roush to a Ford Mustang RTR. However, this year Monster Energy decided to do something different. After the introduction of Monster Energy’s new Ford Ranger Promotional cars, the market had such a great response, Monster Energy decided to give a Monster Ranger away, along with some cool Monster Prizes.


RestoMod decided to pop in and have a look at this Monster Ranger that is currently being assembled at Performance Centre in Centurion.



For those people who dont know Performance Centre, they are the biggest name in Ford performance parts South Africa, ranging from Roush Performance to RTR. They offer everything a Ford fan will love. From bumpers and fenders to cold air intake systems and even supercharger kits.


When it comes to the Monster Ranger, Performance Centre and Monster Energy dont hold back. Starting with a 2022 Ford Ranger Double Cab 2,0 Single Turbo Auto, the first upgrade was to the body.





The Body kit is from Carlex Design and includes a front bumper with Carlex Design logo, front bumper covers that will be painted gloss black, a bonnet lip, front arch extensions, rear arch extensions as well a grille with mesh inset. Performance Centre left the kit with the ruff texture and only painted 2 covers on the front bumper to add some gloss.













For the wheels, Monster went with 18-inch Carlex Design alloy rims wrapped in BF Goodrich All Terrain 265/60 R18 tyres. On the suspension, Monster opted for an Ironman Foam Cell Comfort full suspension kit that will give this Ranger between 40mm 50 mm lift. Big thanks to Fitment 4 Africa for doing the installation. 








When it comes to the sound system, nothing says awesome like Rockford Fosgate. Firstly, the Ranger is getting Silent Coat Sound deadening for the floor, doors and rear cab. The Rockford Fosgate systems include DSR1 Sound Processor, Mid and Tweeters on the front doors. Furthermore, Co-Axials in the rear doors, 5 Channel Class D Amplifier and 10-inch Slimline Woofer.  The system will include a Venter enclosure under the rear seat as well as green LED lights inside the cab.







Then, the Ranger will also include Ironman Side Rock Sliders as well as a custom dual pipe cat-back exhaust system. This is to give it that extra rumble as well as extra power. Lastly, the front bumper will be getting a green LED inlay as well.This is going to be one serious Ranger and we cant wait to see this thing on the road.





Competition


The potential winners selected for the Main Prize (Ford Ranger) will be selected by means of a random audited draw, which will be conducted no later than the 30th of January 2023, at the offices of TMARC. The winner will be notified telephonically. The winner will be contacted twice within a 48-hour period, and should they not answer either call, they will forfeit the prize and the first stand-by winner will be contacted. The same process will be followed for all standby winners who are called. The prizes may not be transferred or exchanged for cash


Prize Delivery would take place 45 working days after validation of the winner has taken place.
