The UP 8DSP is a compact yet powerful amplifier designed to upgrade modern multi-channel factory systems with true hi-fi performance and effortless integration.
Built for Seamless Connectivity
With six high-level inputs, an optical digital input, a MATCH Extension Card slot, and advanced technologies like the ADEP.3 circuit, the UP 8DSP adapts easily to OEM systems. Its eight amplifier channels and additional line output—driven by a high-performance 9-channel DSP—enable a wide range of speaker configurations. Two of the amplifier channels deliver 160 watts RMS into 2 ohms, providing plenty of power for driving demanding subwoofers.
Virtual Channel Processing for Advanced System Design
Today’s vehicles often feature complex front, rear, and center speaker arrangements split into multi-way systems. The UP 8DSP handles this complexity with Audiotec Fischer’s Virtual Channel Processing, making even the most advanced configurations easy to manage through the intuitive DSP PC-Tool software. Proprietary FX sound features, like RealCenter and Augmented Bass Processing, can be assigned freely, while the optional MEC ANALOG IN module enables flexible 1-to-1 signal routing (IOR).
Powered by the 32-Bit ACO Platform
The UP 8DSP features Audiotec Fischer’s proprietary 32-bit ACO processor, delivering ultra-fast control and enhanced audio capabilities. It enables features like channel-separated Input EQ, the Input Signal Analyzer (ISA), and quick switching between multiple sound setups. This makes fine-tuning factory inputs both easy and accurate.

Despite its impressive output—6 x 65 watts @ 4 ohms, plus 2 x 90 / 160 watts @ 4 / 2 ohms—the UP 8DSP maintains a compact footprint, perfect for tight installations without sacrificing performance.

System setup and tuning are made simple with the professional-grade DSP PC-Tool 5 software. With advanced features and a user-friendly interface, it allows for precise sound customization. The new TuneEQ function automates frequency response correction, saving time while optimizing audio performance.
