Description
The Hoosier R7 Racing Radial — P325/30ZR19 is a DOT-labelled competition radial designed for dry track use. The R7 compound is Hoosier's track-focused rubber — engineered to handle repeated heat cycles, hold a consistent contact patch under load, and stay stable at high speed across an entire session. Slightly less peak grip than the A7 (same size, softer compound), but longer lifespan and better thermal tolerance.
Built specifically to provide a consistent level of grip with good wear characteristics on dry tracks — beyond the capabilities of traditional passenger car tyres — for drivers competing in autocross, time trial and track day events.
Construction
- Symmetric construction with two lightweight steel belts
- Spirally wrapped circumferential nylon cap ply under the tread
- Two nylon cord casing plies
- Rim recess design — used on all sizes
- Symmetric tread — can be mounted on either side of the car and later remounted inside-out to extend life
- Moulded to a racing-slick-based design at 4/32" depth — no need to shave for competition
Best For
- Autocross
- Time Trial
- Track day events
- Circuit racing (long sessions)
