Gas Magazine ThrowDown at Dezzi Raceway
On the 25th March 2023, spectators from around SA came to Dezzi Raceway in anticipation for the first Gas Magazine Drag Event of the 2023 – ThrowDown.

A full day of competitive side-by-side drag racing was guaranteed. ThrowDown was majorly successful as many drivers ran personal best times, and some of the racing was neck and neck!
From your aspirated V8’s, to your turbocharged rotary motors – much power (and rubber) was laid as these drivers gave it their all to win their class trophies.
Nissan Champ Bakkies stole the show in our race finale, keeping all spectators on the edge of their seats as that was definitely the much-anticipated race of the day!
