Sibaya pumps up the volume with Sibaya International Auto Sound Challenge Association
It’s going to get loud at Sibaya Casino & Entertainment Kingdom in February as the Sibaya International Auto Sound Challenge Association (IASCA) launches its 2022 season.
The auto show last hosted pre-pandemic, see cars entered by amateurs and professionals to test their sound systems. According to Mohnish Ramgovind, IASCA Event Organiser, the sound-offs will consist of an International Decibel League as well as Bass Boxing. The event will also see preliminary judging for The State of Stance in June.
The decibel meter will be switched on at 9 am with entries closing at 1 pm and the last car judged at 2.30 pm.
“Our partner for 2022 is Gas Magazine, who will run the Show and Shine display automotive event of the show with a slight twist,” Ramgovind said. “Winners of the show and shine will receive an all-access VIP weekend pass for State of Stance 2022, as well as having their vehicles displayed on one of the biggest platforms SA has to offer.” Vehicles will be judged by owners who enter; however they cannot vote for their own vehicle.
